Can't beat the friendly service, delicious cheeseburger and fries and the value is unbeatable. Definitely recommend to try Burger Junkies.

THIS IS A NEW FAVORITE SPOT! DON'T GO TO IN AND OUT, GO HERE INSTEAD. 10/10!! I was craving a burger and was heading back to San Diego from Orange County. I looked on Yelp and saw this local business that was just off the freeway! It was super convenient and is located in San Clemente near the outlet. I believe the owner was at the register and he was the most friendly person. He asked about my day and was very patient while I thought about my order. He had the most wholesome smile!! I ordered a burger with grilled onions and the junkie fries, which are way better than in and out animal style fries. The fries were very crispy and the sauce+cheese+grilled onions were perfect on top. The burger was very delicious and tasted fresh. The bread was very soft and I liked the amount of grilled onions they put inside. My friend got a chili cheese dog and it was super flavorful. I will definitely get a side of the chili next time. The owner kept asking how the food was which was very sweet. I love all the decor inside the place. There are super unique art/drawings on the walls and I liked the music. The design of the menu was really cool too. I can't wait to come back here! I highly recommend coming here and trying their food. The prices are super reasonable and the workers are super efficient and kind. I saw a lot of local people come here so this is a definitely a top spot! PS. (They don't take apple pay)

Just tried this little burger spot. i just have to say everything was absalutly AMAZING. the fries were good, the junkie fries are easily better than in-n-out. they had more flavor and in my opinion, just better quality in general. The cheese burgers were amazing and very fueling. Especially nowadays its hard to find a fast food place that fullfills your hunger completely, so this place is just perfect. i have to give huge props to the very kind guy working there. Not only did he cook the food, but he was the only one there. He had to do the cashier, clean, everything! very hardworking man, so i just would like to say a huge thank you for your amazing service and kind welcoming. Will be coming back. and oh! This was definetly cheaper then in-n-out for anyone wondering. now you give it a try!! :)

Great prices on solid burgers that are similar to In-N-Out. No reason to go anywhere else

Was looking for a new burger spot to try after surfing all morning and came across. Upon arriving I noticed some seating outside and just a few seats inside. The menu is rather simple and not overwhelming at all. I came to try the junkie fries and ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings along with it. You get to choose between raw or grilled onions on your burger. The burger itself was scrumptious and so were the fries, which taste similar to In & Out fries if that's your jam. The onion rings were my favorite and cooked to perfection. Service here was great and very friendly. I look forward to coming back again soon to try the chilli cheese fries.

Absolutely love this place! Been coming here for years whenever we're in the area, or passing by, it's a definite stop. The burgers are a very close match to In and Out burgers, and the chili cheese fries taste suspiciously like Original Tommy's. Let me say that this is what anyone could ask for in one burger joint. The owner/staff are super friendly! Even though this place is tiny, it's quite popular with the locals so be prepared to wait during the lunch rush or other peak hours. But they always come back for the same reason, because the food is awesome! Warning, it's called Burger Junkies for a reason. You'll become a junkie for their food! lol

One of the best burgers I've EVER had! The meat is juicy, bun is soft & perfectly blend making the whole thing is super tasty. Much better than the burger place across the street, plus it's more filling & cheaper. My new go to place when we're in town

WHAT THE?! People say "It's like In N Out", but they're wrong. It's BETTER! LOCALS SPOT FAMILY OWNED / RUN Look you don't go to either place for healthy food. Vegetarians don't always "eat healthy" either. (French fries are vegan!) FOOD: VEGGIE BURGER They make a really messy veggie (bean) burger here. With cheese (dairy), onions grilled or raw, lettuce. OMG got a double. 3-star veggie burger, but 5-star in the moment. It's an awesome fried nastiness that you crave. It's a little too soft for my liking, but so worth it. Fries are better. Junkie Fries are even better yet. Wife got the chicken. CHICKEN! One thing about burger places is that they're great for beef. But limited options. This place will do a protein style grilled chicken breast. The guy at the counter was nice. Chill dude. Not rushed doesn't mean rude. The woman at the grill was knocking out the orders! Perfect bag of junk food = burger junkies. OUTDOOR TABLES for seating. There are stills inside, but this kind of food is best eaten messy. Check out the INSTRUCTIONAL PAINTINGS inside (by NEIGHT) TONS OF PARKING. Drive down Pico to the beach to feast. Get local. Burger Junkies.

08/05/2023 This little hole in the wall place is located across the street from In-N-Out, in the same plaza as Dollar Tree. A little shop with a few tables inside and a few tables outside. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for early dinner, around 4:45 pm. The place was empty. No one around and even the plaza was empty. The older gentleman that took our order was nice and friendly (owner?). Place your order at the counter, sit and wait until your food is ready. Burgers were good and similarly made to In-N-Out with a special sauce/spread. Simple taste, nothing overwhelming. I thought it was a good-tasting burger. The french fries were cooked well and as other Yelpers have said, were like McDonald's fries. The beer batter onion rings were decent. They had "Junkie Fries" which are similar to Animal Fries but we didn't get any this time. Maybe next time... If that In-N-Out line is too long and daunting, drive across the street to this little shop, it can be a good alternative for that burger craving.
